Strawberry sponge cake

Strawberry syrup Merry

Ingredients:
1 strawberry yogurt
1 olive oil measure (using the yogurt recipient)
2 sugar measures (using the yogurt recipient)
2,5  flour measures (using the yogurt recipient) + 1  “maizena” (a very fine corn flour) measure
3 eggs
1 sachet of baking powder
Some chocolate pieces or some drops of chocolate syrup Merry.
Icing sugar and strawberry syrup Merry for decorating.


Preparation:
Preheat the oven for some 15 minutes to 170ºC
Whisk the eggs and sugar in a bowl, add the yogurt and olive oil and whisk them until you get a fluffy mixture. Add the flour which you’ll have mixed previously with the corn flour “maizena” and the baking soda and stir until obtaining a thin mixture, free of lumps.
Add the chocolate pieces or some drops of chocolate syrup Merry.
Smear the cake pan with butter or olive oil and pour the mixture of the bowl.
Bake it for about 40 minutes.
Sprinkle the icing sugar and pour the strawberry syrup Merry for decorating the sponge cake.
