Steamed mussels with peppers vinaigrette

Balsamic vinegar of Modena Merry

1 kgs of mussels.
Ingredients for the vinaigrette: a half of a raw red pepper, a half of a raw green pepper, a half of a raw yellow pepper, fresh parsley, 200 ml of extra virgin olive oil, 4 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar of Modena, salt and pepper.


  • Mussels must be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed several times before cooking.
  • Steam the mussels in a covered pot in order to open the shells. Don’t add water.
  • Chop the peppers and cut them into small cubes. Then, mix them with the olive oil, the chopped fresh parsley and the salt.
  • Serve the mussels with the vinaigrette.
